Mbachi Nkhata otherwise known as 3ill or 3illmatic in full (pronounced Thrill....Thrillmatic) is one extraordinary character who doubles for Radio Q-FM as an on-presenter and Programmes Manager. Born in Ndola, he likes to use the phrase 'cut up and barbecued on the copperbelt' in relation to his past. This is a man who people who grew up with him and around him, describe as a star child. This was so because he just seemed to excel in everything he did. He graduated top of his class from school at the age of 17.

He went from working as a waiter in a hotel, to a chef in a restaurant, to pursuing studies in Economics and Finance. Having joined Q-FM in 2004 as a sidekick on the lunchtime show which he now hosts, it was not long before he's numerous talents were spotted by management. Odd as it may be, radio was never on his agenda. It wasn't until he heard the likes of Zachariah 'Zackadocious' Chavula, Chishala 'Gesh Groove'Chitoshi and Moses 'Mo Funky" Nyama that he started developing an interest which he nurtured and turned into passion. When quizzed about these three and why them, he usually retorts... 'Guess I wasn't wrong about them...Look at them; they all own their stations now'.Mbachi is a man of passion and strongly feels people should be proactive in planning for their own future. This is the third stint on the lunchtime show having also hosted the drive time and Breakfast show.

Today, when not in the office or sitting behind the mic in the booth, he's at home to his lovely wife, Namwaka, a former on-presenter herself and their two beautiful children. He also encourages young people to pursue their dreams and mentors those who wish to pursue broadcasting. He continues to lead a life as he would aptly put it....... 'Thrilling'
