United Party for National Development (UPND) founder Anderson Mazoka's widow Mutinta Mazoka has defended current UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema's stewardship of the opposition party.
Mrs. Mazoka, who is UPND Pemba Member of Parliament, says there is nothing wrong with Mr. Hichilema's leadership of the party.
UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema has been accused in some quarters of destroying the party ever since he took over from late Anderson Mazoka.
Speaking to QFM News, Mrs. Mazoka says people should not expect Mr. Hichilema to run the affairs of the opposition party the same way her late husband used to run it because they are two different people.
She says there mere perceptions that the party is being destroyed under the leadership of Mr. Hichilema stating that the party is still intact.
